POSITIVE reddit

I've been having positive experiences with this Wysa AI chatbot app. An hour ago I was on the verge of a mental break, and the app walked me through a couple exercises, and I came out on the other side optimistic and calm. Before I might have suffered through this shit mindset for days. It isn't a magic switch to eliminate anxiety, but it has helped me greatly. I just want to put this out there hoping that other people might be able to find relief similar to how I have.

NEGATIVE trustpilot

Maybe I'm the problem, but being told to use this AI chatbot (that is waaaay behind the freely availably ones btw) by my Dr when I was crying on the phone about how bad my mental health was did not help. Maybe this works if you are well adjusted and experiencing a problem for the first time ever in your life but I am amazed that this has replaced a huge part of mental health services in the UK. It is a couple short guided meditations and a chatbot that is super stilted.

NEGATIVE trustpilot

Used to be an innovative app a few years ago, but has gotten obsolete after the AI revolution. Simple features such as memory and voice are lacking. Even simple solutions such as ChatGPT blow Wysa out of the water right now.

NEGATIVE reddit

Their advice is extremely generic. And everything they say is waited towards what received a positive user review, meaning they are an enabler, a yes man, they don't challenge you or your opinions, they don't really provide any new information at all. I think if the wrong person turned to AI for their mental health needs instead of a real person, it would be extremely dangerous for them, because it's not programmed to give good advice, it's just programmed to tell people what they want to hear,
