“Thanks for the review. 100% agree - dictation is both accurate and fast. As for the “bad”, it takes ~8% CPU and 800MB when idle - all the time, and I don’t think that there’s any good technical reason for that. It can’t be explained neither by the screen reader (mine is off) or the Electron framework (at least not the constant use of CPU). “When you're using it on mobile, you pretty much have to invoke it, swipe back, do your dictation, and then close Wispr Flow entirely. Otherwise, it keeps your microphone active at the top. You can look and see there's usually a little orange light that's on, but yes, that battery drain is real. Personally, I don't use it on my phone for that reason, and it's just very cumbersome.
