“UiPath is badly marketed and Studio is occasionally laggy (definite bad user experience), but the scope automation with UiPath is exceptionally powerful and capable. It's not useless, it's just a difficult tool to learn and grow accustomed to; especially if you're not a software developer. The truth is, they market the tooling towards non-traditional people: they call them "citizen developers." Unfortunately, to get the most out of UiPath's potential, what you need are trained software develop”
“I get why enterprises need structure, compliance, support. That’s not the weird part. What I don’t get is why, in a world where AI tooling is evolving insanely fast, companies still lock themselves into heavyweight, proprietary abstractions. Why not build around things that can actually evolve with the technology agents, MCP, open-source models, frameworks like DeepAgents? Seeing “UiPath experience required” in a 2026 job posting just feels weird to me. Maybe I’m missing something about enterpri”
“UI Path - A perfect path to automation — Overall UiPath in my current opinion is the most powerful and useable of the RPA tools. It has many features to debug issues as they occur and the ability to help find opportunities to automate further. I highly recommend the tool — UiPath has really powerful and easy to use features for RPA. Having used other RPA products in the past I found it very easy to learn especially with the training available on their own website. UiPath customer support and for”
“Good automation platform with strong AI and bot creation features — My experience with UiPath was positive. I used it to automate invoice processing, extracting data, validating it and posting to an ERP. It reduced manual effort significantly, though it required careful handling during error scenarios. — I liked UiPath’s intuitive design. It made automating complex business processes feel approachable, fast to build, and easy to maintain, even when scaling solutions across teams. — I liked least”
“UIPath has a free plan, if you just want to use automation for yourself, it is completely free. And there is strong community helps you, but you still need entry level coding knowledge and strong capability of using search engine. if you utilize online resources well. you will get job done. However i have to say there is still few bugs annoying.”
“Former sales rep. UiPath is probably the best and most sofisticated automation platform out there. But it is so expensive that it gets to a point that the business case for continuing to buy more robots is just not there. Just be careful with that. All the so-called business cases I saw while there were based on "millions of dollars saved by....saving time" - While yes, it does save time, it doesn't necessarily translate to real hard dollars. The impacts are more in line with "paying vendors f”
“I will say any UI automation is easier to develop with uipath, blueprism or power automate desktop, etc..Of course you can do it too in Python, but development time can be higher. If anything you are automating has api, uipath is useless, cause you can do that in python or something similar in a fraction of its cost. Legacy applications using cmd like interfaces are also better with uipath like technologies.”
“I think it's a great skill to have. The pay is great and the demand is strong. It's hard to find qualified resources.”
“UiPath is a platform that offers agents and deterministic flows all in a low code delivery package. Do you have any idea how many orgs still have mainframes despite them being obsolete like 20+ years ago? Many banks can't repeat what they do so they keep them ticking. (Subtle math behaviours and rounding) I've been working in automation over 13 years and sure AI can pull together code quickly but how stable is it? How predictable? Where to deploy it and schedule at enterprise scale? Can it w”
“i've been in and out of uipath implementations at smbs for about 4 years and the honest answer is it's great on a demo and painful in year two. the real failure mode isn't process definition, it's that uipath leans heavily on coordinate-based or image-based selectors for anything non-standard, so the moment an app version bumps or someone changes their dpi the bot breaks silently. for most smb workflows a code-first approach using the native accessibility tree (AX on mac, UIA on windows) is way ”

“It has a lot of improvement scope, as of now it is not as stable as UiPath Orchestrator . However, I am sure the team will upgrade it's shortcomings in the near future.”
“Scale your automation projects fast with UiPath — It has been an excellent ally for Excel, data entry, e-mail, revisions, PDF, among others. It is a tool that can optimize unimaginable processes, it is really worth it. — What I like the most about Uipath is the amount of learning material, like Uipath Academy, the forums, the video tutorials and the active and updated community, all this helps to make the learning curve fast and enjoyable, anyway Uipath is coding free, so anyone can start imple”
“I was recently hired into a role looking at process improvement through automation. I have a few use cases I am exploring. We do have a centralized team in my org that is experienced with UiPath but we are under a time crunch and can’t risk getting put into a longer queue. This team has not spoken highly about the UiPath professional services team and their abilities to deliver. Has anyone else had this experience? We are also exploring implementation partners until we can get a team up and runn”
“In my experience, it varies widely. I've worked with a few Pro Services devs who were truly top notch developers, and others who I sincerely wondered whether they'd completed the basic training or if they had any prior experience.”
“Hello u/Some-Meringue-6612 I work closely with our ProServe teams, i can assure you they are indeed true UiPath ambassadors at the highest level and we are very proud of their work with our customers. If you want to talk with someone from the team, send me a message! Thank you!”
“The best part of UiPath is, it is very easy to learn and work on it and does not require any coding background. The UiPath Academy sessions keeps you curious and busy which helps in learning the next topic. The course content and practical samples helps anyone(whether from programming background or non programming background)easy to understand and gets hands on. UiPath Academy helps you become a RPA Developer with minimum/basic coding language. UiPath has activities for any and every task or pro”
“Quite honestly, I tried now several times to install and follow the UIPath academy lessons. But the tool and the lessons especially are just a pain in the behind. Setting up different users with 2 emails just to test things out? And then the stupid system does not recognize them? Also pumping out buzzwords but not fulfilling any marketing promise? UIPath seems to be quite strong on the marketing side meandering about how great it is but the UX is completely different. Unstructured, unorganized a”

Questions
UiPath is an enterprise automation platform that coordinates AI agents, robotic process automation, and human workers together in unified workflows. It addresses the challenge of implementing AI and automation across complex business processes that span multiple systems and require human oversight, operating through three layers: orchestration, execution, and governance.
UiPath offers a Community edition that is free forever, allowing users to build, explore, and automate with the platform. They also offer paid Basic and Standard plans, with the Basic plan starting at $25/month and the Standard plan including a 60-day free trial.
UiPath's orchestration layer manages process flow by coordinating work across AI agents, people, and systems with visibility and control. Workflows can pause for human approvals and resume automatically, with exceptions routing to humans when needed, while AI agents handle reasoning and decision-making tasks.
UiPath offers industry-specific solutions for manufacturing (commercial pricing with AI market prediction), healthcare (prior authorization automation and medical record summarization), banking (financial crime compliance and lending automation), and finance/accounting (procure-to-pay, invoice processing, and order-to-cash workflows).
UiPath is available as a web-based tool and on iOS devices. The platform also offers both cloud and on-premise deployment options for enterprise customers.
Customer case studies show significant measurable results including 70,000+ hours of annual labor savings at WEX, 75% reduction in fraud losses at Suncoast Credit Union, and 90% reduction in clinical review time at Medlitix. These demonstrate the platform's ability to deliver substantial operational improvements across different industries.
UiPath's governance layer enforces trust through data protection, model governance, controlled agency, and complete audit trails. This ensures that automated processes maintain enterprise-grade security and compliance while providing full visibility into all automated activities.
Yes, UiPath integrates with existing enterprise systems and allows developers to build custom agents and automations using familiar tools. The platform is designed to work across multiple systems without requiring replacement of existing infrastructure.
