Honestly, I got a lot of value out of Resume Worded. The AI was actually useful and I found it much better than just using ChatGPT. If you use ChatGPT for long enough and for multiple resumes, you'll notice it literally generates the same kind of sentences each time - the same words, the same buzzwords, etc - and it's so easy to spot. I'd try out the free credits you get from Resumeworded.

Where do I even begin? Calling ResumeWorded a "service" feels generous. It's more like a digital shithole, a time capsule sent back from 1998 to punish us for our hubris. I came here to polish my resume, and I left wondering if I should chisel it onto a stone tablet instead. First, let's talk about the main event: the "AI." This thing is notoriously, spectacularly hopeless. I've affectionately named my AI reviewer. This seems to be powered by a half-chewed piece of flint and a deep-seated confus

Yeah I got a lot of value from Resume Worded. I'd say 3 main reasons: - useful to find issues that you probably miss - their AI wrote better stuff than ChatGPT - if you use chatgpt for long enough you'll notice it just produces the same slop said 5 different ways; got better results from resume worded - canceling was easy and like someone else said here, I got a good cancellation deal so I kept it for cheap through my whole job search even though I paid for way less XD I paid for it but honestly

Kimberley Tyler-Smith’s feedback was honest and extremely helpful, and I truly appreciate her advice! Rohan did such an amazing job talking about people skills! It's not a sexy strength to have compared to data or technical expertise but it's a very valuable and underrated skill that is hard to help people get better at and quantify. Loved this particular newsletter because I was JUST talking about this with friends this week. Really fantastic resume optimization service. I've used this tool on

I found it very helpful. It’s cheap considering you get resume stuff, targeting, and LinkedIn all in one

its a scam, i tried to generate something, it just kept showing "Thinking hard..." then i saw network activity, there was absolutely nothing ! They are making us fool, i lost my 1k INR by getting premium.

There are completely, totally free websites that can tailor your cover letter, resume, and even create a mock interview, all based on each job description, pointing out strengths and gaps against the JD. Then it automatically tracks every scrap of data about your search, job postings and status, contacts, deadlines, next steps. No paywall or subscription. Just search "manage job applications" and skip the pay-to-play sites. Good luck with your search!

Not at all. You will feel helpless once you start taking their AI recommendation. The main problem with their paid version you have to download template from somewhere else and create from scratch, and then ask for recommendation line by line and keep scanning to verify your score percentage. Oh man this is so exhausting. In this bad market, it took almost 3-4 hours to create one resume as per the job description so if you are targeting to apply 5-8 jobs daily, I find this tool crap and so daunt

NEGATIVE reddit

LOL I finally gave up after changing verbs and adding quantifiers. My first "grade" was 9/100!!! I then went to 68, 66, and now 62. I think I am going to break for the day! It is a great resource to improve resume, though I have to say. I changed the format and added a lot of things I didn't think of by reading the suggestions. And I used only the free version.

NEGATIVE reddit

From the future: it's OK as a basic "sanity check" that your resume doesn't have glaring formatting errors that will kill it. But in terms of content you can tell it's using more primitive AI models that "sound" like AI, and having a limited understanding of how some things aren't really "defects" in a bigger context. I wouldn't use it to write your whole resume or freak out if you're scoring 70. But if you're scoring 50 or something you probably need to polish. Going from 88 to 96 can literally
