Reviewers consistently praise the visual project boards and workflow automation as the core strengths.
At a glance
Monday.com provides workflow automation and integrates with tools like Microsoft Copilot and various business platforms. It offers specialized project management features like Gantt charts and visual boards that go beyond basic task management. However, it doesn't have proprietary AI models or unique data sources, functioning more as a sophisticated workflow layer than a fundamentally different AI solution.

“the product itself is fantastic. your imagination and your own time are the only limits. i am blown away every day by the new things we are getting Monday to do. The customer support is useless! I have tried getting in contact via email and online chat, both of which are clearly run by AI. They are terrible! I am leaving a 1 star review, but if a human gets in contact, I will happily change this rating to 5 stars. Please ask someone from the enterprise or sales team to contact me. Michael Lanl”
“The issue is that Monday fundamentally is isn't built to work with large data sets. I mean shit, even selecting and editing multiple rows is a chore. But ultimately the architecture is the issue, which is why platforms like Airtable (my background), though plenty of others, feel so versatile and nimble by comparison. Those platforms are database first with an interface layer. Monday is interface first, and you real feel the limitations when manipulating the data. That aside, the heavy push to ”
“Monday.com is a versatile platform that I use for many different reasons: a catalogue of advert artwork, internal comms planning, staff movement actions (training and platform set-up etc.), stats tracking, even my job hunt and handover notes. It's quick and easy to assign tasks to colleagues and drop each other notes. It's one of my favourite marketing tools to improve collaboration, efficiency (and sanity!).”
“Honest Review: A Love-Hate Relationship with Monday.com Monday is a visually appealing, easy-to-use, and powerful tool for teams. It offers great integrations and allows you to build robust workflows and dashboards with relative ease. In the early stages, the value is obvious. But once you’ve set everything up and your system is running smoothly, the relationship starts to feel strained. The platform stops adding meaningful value—but the billing doesn’t stop. In fact, it often feels like they’”
“I’ve been using Monday.com for quite some time, both in my current company and in my previous one. The platform is generally fine, but it still lacks some essential core features — for example, automatic updates to linked items across main boards. Interestingly, several third-party apps in the marketplace already offer these functions and are among the most popular ones, which says a lot about the product’s current limitations. What has made Monday.com acceptable up to this point is its pricing”

“If i could give it a -5 review I would. Horrible customer service, their time to reply is weeks, I've had a payment issue for over a month and have spoken to multiple customer service representatives to which they all say "I've raised it to the team, it will take some time to review". Their resolution systems are appalling, getting passed around from person to person and no one has a clue how to solve anything. ”
“My choice for project management | If you have a use case that fits the current structure of the app, it’s really good. We use it for content creation and publishing around various campaigns. monday.com allows us to stay on the same page around each campaign, what needs to be done, communicate with the team, and keep it handy for the future when we need to reference it. | Pros: Reliability | Pros: Project management | Pros: Status updates | Pros: Archive | Cons: Mirroring boards | Cons: Connecte”
“Nous utilisions Monday depuis 3 ans et nous avons décidé d'arrêter. Le fonctionnement est simple et nous convenait, mais nous n'en pouvons plus des lenteurs d'affichage et de rafraîchissement. Si on ouvre une tâche, il faut attendre, puis la fermer pour continuer, au lieu de pouvoir cliquer directement sur une autre tâche.”
“It has wiped my whole company log in. no reason just says cant find account. The 24/7 support is a complete lie. No humans to talk to and the bot literally says I cant help you. Absolutely disgraceful. ”
“System down for FIVE WEEKS with ZERO support, This company is the worst I have EVER dealt with,, They just DO NOT CARE. !!!”
“monday.com A Super Friendly and Easy-to-Use Platform for Everything | monday.com is well-suited for small and large companies, individuals or teams. monday.com's platform is super easy to use and learn. monday.com's support team is extremely impressive, and get back to users immediately. Their academy is very helpful as well. Feature requests in the community are taken seriously. Anybody can use their platform with ease to track deals, projects, tasks, and more. I would not use monday.com as a”

“I booked a call with a human after lots of chats with their AI bot to discuss buying their product. The sales person didn't even turn up for the call, Like my time doesn't matter. they have obviously given up with human interaction and manners ”
“We've had an issue for the past few weeks with the connection between Monday and Gmail, which previously worked just fine. After feeding their BOT the answers to its questions, representatives never got back to us. Trying to reach them again is only thru the BOT, which starts the process again and takes 15 minutes to get to the part where it supposedly refers you to a representative (which never happens). The BOT doesn't remember you, or your issue and approaching it again only wastes your time ”

“We ran all our client projects on here for years, but recent updates have completely tanked usability. You can't click anywhere without dodging unremovable AI prompts or fighting through a cluttered sidebar. Worst of all, their AI bot keeps barging into private client meetings even after we explicitly disabled it in settings. Support has been completely silent, and right now the platform is just overpriced bloat slowing my team down.”
“We've been using Monday for a few years now. Since they decided to push Ai, the app is getting worse with every update. I can't make a single move without some popup asking if I want an Ai agent to follow up or if I want to "create a vibe board" or whatever other stupid buzzwords they're trying to use. Because of this, things move significantly slower. I can't even upload a PDF without two popups and a wait. I used to love this app. Now I hate it. If they could give us an option to just use Mo”
“Monday est pratique pour gérer ses projets, mais alors niveau ergonomie… c’est un cauchemar. Pas fluide, des chargements interminables. Les automatisations plantent sans logique, ce qui est très frustrant. Autre point agaçant : on peut importer des données, mais pas de sous-éléments (subitems). L’import en lui-même est mal pensé et lourd à gérer. Si je veux travailler avec ChatGPT, c’est pareil : impossible d’importer correctement, je me retrouve à devoir faire des copier-coller à la main. On se”

Multiple reviewers report billing practices that create friction for users. Customers describe being charged for more seats than needed (billed for 10 when adding a 6th user), difficulty canceling subscriptions, prorated refunds even for immediate cancellation requests, and continued billing after account closure. Some users report being charged without authorization or having trouble reaching human support to resolve billing disputes.

“[Monday.com Alternatives] We are currently using Monday in our Property Management company and we are thinking about changing from Monday as we think we are overcharged, there are features that we don’t use, actions upto 250k that we are only being able to use 16k by average. Not”
“You very well may be being overcharged, but at the same time, Asana and ClickUp wont necessairily be cheaper. Based on your auotmation limit, sounds like you're on Enterprise. Not sure why you would need to be on Enterprise - I've worked with over 20 property management companies”
