i hate how it doesnt teach me my decks anymore, i have to type in what i want it to teach me and itll just teach me some random stuff. im cancelling my subscription. its sad cuz it was actually super useful especially for biology, id just upload my notes to a deck and it would teach me, now it doesnt :(

Trash. Does not work properly

NEGATIVE reddit

I can't believe it's changed. Is it a sign to just make our flashcards (Especially for English Literature imo) somewhere else?

I enjoy the app; once you tweak it a little, it's easy to use to fit the subject you need it for.

NEGATIVE reddit

I agree with everyone saying this new UI sucks. It's super user-unfriendly and even lags my computer somehow?? But what I REALLY hate is that you can't answer blanks out of order anymore without clicking them specifically, which is super annoying if you have a list of blanks or something similar and also just in general if you remember certain parts of the card first. Please change it back or have an option to revert to the older version because I love Gizmo but I don't know if I can keep using

POSITIVE reddit

Hi! I'm a first-year nursing/pre-med student. I've been using Gizmo AI for months now (since senior high school), but I always see people vouch for Anki and how effective it is. I like Gizmo AI because it's fun to use. However, I recently downloaded Anki and I’m a bit confused. With Gizmo AI, I usually type out my answers, and it offers various quiz formats, like multiple choice or fill-in-the-blanks. But in Anki, I noticed that I don’t need to type anything. From what I’ve observed, I just look

POSITIVE reddit

I started with Anki, then found Gizmo. In my opinion, gizmo is so much better. Mainly because of the importing. I like to hand write my notes so I don’t want to rewrite flash cards. The AI in Gizmo is a bit sus though so I have to go back through and edit them. Ankis UI feels ancient compared to Gizmo and I think that helps motivate me too. I think it really depends on what the pros and cons are for you personally and your learning style
