What it is
Doctronic addresses the challenge of accessing timely, affordable healthcare by combining AI symptom analysis with on-demand access to licensed physicians. Traditional healthcare often requires lengthy wait times for appointments and expensive urgent care visits, leaving patients struggling to get quick answers about their health concerns. The platform targets individuals seeking immediate medical guidance without the cost and inconvenience of emergency rooms or urgent care facilities.
At a glance
Doctronic combines medical research databases with AI analysis, then connects users to real licensed doctors - creating a complete healthcare workflow that goes beyond what you'd get from asking ChatGPT about symptoms. The integration of peer-reviewed research and live doctor access provides genuine value over generic AI chatbots.

āWhat really sums my experience with the doctronic AI consult is just WOW!! I'M SUPER IMPRESSED WITH THE DETAIL AND ACCURACY! It turns out that I DO have the diagnosis listed as the most likely! I'm truly shocked by this experience. Everything noted and asked is so applicable and accurate that it stuns me. Truly impressive!ā
āAs a patient this is terrifying.ā
āI received cogent advice, think the questions asked were extremely pertinent, and the final suggestions are appropos! Thank you for providing this app to assist we who need information before consulting our regular PCM! Great app! ā
āThanks for the help. I got more information than I have gotten from my doctor in years . ā
āThe chatbot's bedside manner is amazing! It's kind, easy to talk to, and offers excellent advice, which can be reviewed by a doctor for only $39. This could revolutionize healthcare!ā
āhttps://commerce.utah.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Doctronic-Final-Agreement.pdf The non physician administrative director of the Utah office of professional licensure signed this contract. Itās kinda funny to hear the Utah Medical Licensing Board didnāt hear about this⦠Either it was hidden from them Or They donāt talk to that guy very often. Separately, the more I look into this Utah AI thing, the more I think itās a grift where companies can bribe the PhD director. He has no financial disclā
āthey sound like they know this is a scam they're pulling...ā
āI just went through. It was pretty straightforward. Spoke to somebody pretty quickly although they only gave me a five day prescription for constant muscle flareups I feel like for $50. I shouldāve had something better for long-term pain management.ā
āI used it today! My insurance changed, so Iām between providers and needed a refill. Urgent Care said they couldnāt refill it because of policy (I have since learned that was untrue), and I remembered an ad and looked them up. Process was seamless and super fast. The pharmacy had the digital Rx within 20 minutes of me looking at the home page for the first time.ā
āHorrible and waste of time. Waited over an hour just for a doctor to join and then immediately hang up without saying anything. Made another appointment and paid the fee again only to wait over 2 hours without being seen. Better off going to Urgent Care or ER at that rate. ā
āCan't help but think of this (also in Utah) https://www.vice.com/en/article/an-ai-generated-police-report-claimed-a-cop-transformed-into-a-frog/ Basically, how long will it be till there's a massive screw up, and who is supposedly "in charge" when it happens? Kinda doubt it'll be the insurance companyā
āhttps://www.fsmb.org/siteassets/communications/doctronic-letter-from-medical-board.pdf Commentary On April 20, 2026, they posted this letter on FSMB: "The Utah Medical Licensing Board (Medical Board) was made aware of this agreement only after its implementation, once the system was already live and available for use." Now that is a scary but not surprising thought. All these tech companies believe they can blitzkrieg their way through safety guardrails without confirming it in independent, wellā
āSuper convenient, The doctors I have talked to were friendly and listened. Highly recommend ā
āSo I had a very interesting experience with Doctronic so I have had two visits with this service. The first was good it was fast and efficient but the doctor did not listen to what medicine works for me best and prescribed me something that made my situation worse. So after chatting with the AI to see if I can get another visit without paying again as my treatment never worked, AI was no help so I then went to the end of the page where is says contact us. I put in a request for a refund as I didā
āThe doctor was amazing and very caring. I highly recommend using them. ā
āI was thoroughly informed, didn't have to wait and the responsiveness and professionalism was excellent. Overall it was over 5 stars and I'd definitely use again. ā

āI'm trying it today because I need a cheap & fast doctor's note w/o insurance. I talked to an AI bot for a bit, then kinda pressured it to let me talk to the real doctor because for some odd reason it kept bombarding me with the same question again and again (typical ai chatbot). I paid the $39 already, I'm just waiting for the video consultation. Will update !!ā
āThe fact that it was quick and in the comfort of my own home is awesome doctors were straight to the point I was in and out within 2 minutes with prescription on the way to the pharmacy thank youā
āSo you talk to AI at first giving basic info, you can ask questions too. You can ask about the specific medicine you want, then you pay, live directed into a waiting room. I have done two appointments so far, I've averaged 15 minutes of waiting in the waiting room. Doctors are friendly, and knowledgeable, listen to your concerns, and get you the treatment you are looking for. You can also upload all your labwork, and other medical records for them to review as well.ā
