POSITIVE reddit

Yes! DeerFlow is genuinely impressive for deep research tasks. The main issue most people face is the setup — especially on Windows. It's built with Linux in mind so there are a lot of compatibility traps (Python versions, Node.js paths, YAML config) that can kill your afternoon. Once it's properly configured though, the output quality is solid.

Tested for a while. There is nothing in it that Hermes agent can’t do

NEGATIVE reddit

I’ve been experimenting with https://deerflow.tech/, but I haven’t been able to get the desired output. I’ve heard a lot on X that it’s quite good, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong. How has your experience been with it? I was also considering combining it with OpenClaw.

NEGATIVE reddit

Been trying to get DeerFlow to use LM Studio as its backend, but it's not working properly. It just behaves like a regular chat interface without leveraging the local model the way I expected. Anyone else run into this or have it working correctly?

I installed it on docker setup today. it cannot call the tools for web search and web crawling. Even giving it to Gemini to solve, I spent two hours guessing what can be wrong with it...

I used it over the weekend. Uninstalled today. Not what I wanted. I like some of the architecture — esp the functional middleware. Adapted some stuff for my own build. Was a lil buggy, IMO. But Quick work on the issues. I submitted a few and they were picked up fast. I believe it will get better with time.

What have you tried doing with it so far? What outputs were less than desirable? I installed it but had initial issues with oauth. They were just resolved, so I got it back up and running. And… I hear you. I feel like I’m doing something wrong, or I’m not sure what niche it’s supposed to fill. I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what to use it for. It feels either too small or too complex for every task/project. What were the interesting projects you saw on X? Maybe I’ll look the
