βUpdate: New interface is awful. Less AI please. I am honestly blown away by the accuracy of this app! Is it perfect? No. But it actually has suggested something that I was able to take to my doctor to discuss. It helped us narrow down some of the issues I was having and pull them together into one overall diagnosis. I wouldn't have known to ask questions about the issue of it weren't for Ada. I'm very amazed at how it. Keeps growing too and how the clarity of followup questions is. Love Ada!!β
βI loved this app before they decided to fully integrate AI into it. Before, they would give multiple diagnosis options with the why. Now, they give you one or two obviously wrong answers and you can't modify the findings or answers to narrow the diagnosis. For example, my husband started experiencing isolated pain in the arch of his foot and the only solution the app could offer was sciatica. No consideration for anything else like planter fascitis, just straight to a larger nerve issue.β
βThis app used to be fantastic. I loved all of the in-depth questions that would be asked. Now the AI has changed and it's more like you write a paragraph and they ask how long you've experienced each symptom you talked about. It's gotten so bad that it suggested the tendonitis in my hands/arms were either leukemia, Lyme disease, sickle cell anemia, Lofgren syndrome (which affects the legs, not arms??), or Fabry disease. Completely ridiculous suggestions for inflamed tendons. Disappointing.β
βThis app used to be incredible for tracking various issues and conditions for my entire family. Since they "refocussed" and released the update, all of that is just...gone. Not only can I no longer add new info, they've erased the data and profiles for the rest of my family. I can't even download it to save the data I already had. The current version of the app? In my opinion, substandard and redundant to the point of being absolutely useless.β
βCalled for Covid meds. Site said I would get a call back within two hours. No call, but the app says the call was missed. There was no missed call on my phone. Call the worthless phone number and some terrible voice says to send an email. Listening to bad music while βon holdβ with no expectation someone will pick up. β
βI set up an appointment for COVID medication at 12:41 p.m. was told I would get a call within 2 hours and as of 7 hours I had not heard anything. The notification stated that as long as my appointment was made between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. which only excludes the hours between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. in the morning I would receive a call within 2 hours I received a text with the number that would be calling me and that it would be within 2 hours never heard backβ
βThis app used to be fantastic. I used to have assessments dating all the way back to 2017. Now, with the update, all of that is gone. I effectively had to make essentially a new account and my history is wiped. Will not be downloading again.β
βthe app im general is good, although after I've updated it, it logged me out and now j am unable to login or create a new account. it just keeps taking me back to og menuβ
βHave used this app for a long time now. Would highly recommend. It is a symptom checker and also a symptom tracker. You are able to have multiple people (others in your household) on there also so you can also recheck & add to the symptoms. Alot of symptom checkers always send you into a panic and just come with A - go to a&e or B - see a doctor asap. This checker is the polar opposite. You can add as many symptoms as you like & it asks alot of in-depth questions. It's all recorded and the numβ

βReally nice app, very simple to use, (even kind of fun!), and doesn't jump straight to cancer or similar like you would get when googling your symptoms. I use it whenever I feel ill to get an idea of what might be causing it. A few times it hasn't been able to offer any likely suggestions for what I'm experiencing, but for the most part it offers several good suggestions and even gives likelihoods for each condition, which is great if you tend to assume the worst like me.β
βI really like the app. It's easy to use, and doesn't immediately jump to "you may be dying" like some other symptom checker apps. I do wish that there was a way to input pre-existing conditions into your profile on the app so that the app could let you know if whatever symptoms you've put into it might be a result of those conditions, or possibly a reason to seek immediate care.β

It helps reduce unnecessary emergency department visits by providing intelligent triage that determines whether users need emergency care, urgent care, primary care, or can manage their condition at home.
Clinical evidence shows that 38.5% of patients who initially planned an emergency department visit chose lower-acuity care after a single Ada assessment. The platform also resulted in a 216% increase in patients making clinically appropriate care decisions.
Ada Health is available as a web tool that you can access through your browser, and it also has an iOS app for iPhone and iPad users.
Ada Health serves two primary market segments: health systems and payers who use it to optimize care utilization and reduce costs, and pharmaceutical companies who gain access to patients before they enter traditional healthcare systems. It's particularly valuable for reaching patients before any claims, specialist visits, or diagnostic codes are generated.
